Prior to founding Plexome, Priti led Velos' clinical research business line with the launch of a suite of web-based solutions that have been used in the management of over 10,000 research projects by a user community that grew more than 150% year over year. Prior to that, Priti held key executive positions at NantHealth, Abraxis (acquired by Celgene) and CalHIPSO with a focus on personalized medicine and data analytics. She has been directly involved in multiple successful clinical informatics projects including cross-enterprise, state-wide and disease-specific consortiums.
Dr. Priti Sahai holds a degree in medicine from Lady Hardinge Medical College and a master's degree in community health administration.

With a background in engineering and management, Umer has repeatedly demonstrated success in taking innovative technology solutions from inception to launch with high value returns for his user base. His experience spans product management, business strategy and operational excellence and his solution portfolio includes clinical, research, administrative and financial systems. Prior to Plexome, Umer had oversight for Velos' flagship product suite adopted by over 30,000 users across 2,000 clinical sites including premier institutions such as Mayo Clinic, MD Anderson Cancer Center, University of Texas Health System and others.
Umer received his undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology and a master's degree in engineering management and leadership from Santa Clara University.
Vice President, Business Development

Kevin has held several positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, research and development, program management and marketing at Abbott Laboratories, APP Pharma and Fresenius Kabi. Prior to joining Plexome, Kevin served as Vice President of Business Operations for NantPharma and Director of Strategic Initiatives for NantWorks, an ecosystem of companies focused on improving healthcare outcomes.
Kevin earned a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.
A 20-year veteran of the health-care industry, most recently Lou was CEO of Shriners Hospitals for Children. Prior to that, she has brought leadership exemplified in the ability to motivate and inspire relationships that lead to strategic partnerships and alliances that drive successful outcomes as CEO of several institutions including Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth Health System, Tenet Healthcare, and Sutter Health. Lou received her bachelor’s degree in physical therapy and her master’s in health care administration from San Antonio’s Trinity University.
Specialist, Clinical Programs
A surgeon, educator, and innovator, Dr. Srivastava is dedicated to helping people realize their full potential in life. Dr. Srivastava is an orthopedic hand surgeon at the forefront of championing the development and use of novel educational methods and learning technologies. Over the past two decades, he has pursued his interest in immersive and simulation based training for medical knowledge and clinical skills acquisition, and extended this to the online space. He has developed solutions for computer-aided instruction aimed at medical and allied health professionals including stereoscopic imagery, advanced 3D graphics, simulations, image processing and networked applications for telemedicine and tele-education. Dr Srivastava is currently a professor at Stanford University and has extensive experience working with healthcare institutions in India, Africa, and Europe.
Specialist, Scientific Collaborations
As a dynamic scientist with a diverse skill set, Dr. Seiler brings a scientific background and biorepository management skills to help further the revolutionary mission of Kaleido Bioscience. Previously the Manager for the Biobank Core Facility at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center and for the Arizona Biospecimen Consortium, and as an active member of ISBER as Communication's Committee Chair and ISBER News Editor, Catherine's goal is to help transform health through research. In addition, she endeavors to enable patients through education, through her blog www.thingsitellmymom.com and writing for GotScience.org. Catherine received her undergraduate degree in biochemistry and molecular biology from Boston University and her PhD in the biological sciences from the Watson School of Biological Sciences at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory.
Finance and Operations Advisor
Farideh is Vice President of Finance and Chief of Staff at OneMarket Shopper Exchange and has over 20 years of experience in fast paced, high technology companies in Silicon Valley. In the past 10 years her focus has been on start up ventures. Prior to her current role, she held leadership positions in Finance and Human Resources at companies such as Anita Borg Institute and Qi Imaging (acquired by NantHealth). Her work experience spans the medical devices, online advertising, network appliances, and semiconductor industries. Farideh earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from San Jose State University.
